On February 10th, I once again boarded a plane headed for Arizona. This time it would be for a lot of pre-wedding, wedding, and post-wedding activities, as well as the final touches on the sale of our Arizona home.I found myself attending a bridal shower (but no pictures), going to basketball games for Hewitt, having Duerk's parents and children over for Cafe Rio the day before the wedding, hosting a wedding girls only brunch, watching Sue get her hair and makeup done, going to the temple, and then attending a lovely reception that evening. It really was a family affair with lots of food, games (air hockey, foosball, basketball shoot, in the hole toss, photo booth), dancing, and celebrating. Then they were off on their honeymoon and I watched the little boys (August and Kiefer) for a few days. February 17th was a great day!
Truman and I just finished one of his favorite puzzles
Working on the 2nd puzzle, not bad for not yet 3
Sue's "besties" came from Oregon for her wedding. What a fun reunion they had.

I wanted to have a picture with each of the grandchildren so on their birthdays, I would have a picture of them to share. So, with the exception of missing grandchildren, Jake, Joseph, Kate, Sofia, Josef and Lukas, I think I captured the others.

The happy couple was finally off on their honeymoon Florida, then cruising to Jamaica and Haiti. They had a wonderful time!
Emily was all tuckered out with all the busyness of the day!
Now I guess it's back to reality! It will be hard to find another day quite like February 17th. We had only a few more days until the rest of the family returned to their homes. It was fun to go to church together and to provided a special musical number for the Branch on the Reservation that Rob and Tamsen and family attend. It was going pretty well, but Truman grabbed the phone, so short, but sweet. Anna had a chance to do her "magic on a couple of heads of hair. I had a chance to juice what seemed like a zillion oranges that Brett and Alisa had picked. It was delicious juice and it seemed to disappear very quickly.

It was a wonderful time to be in Arizona. I'm looking forward to spring and all the activities coming up. Love to all of you! Don't forget to "spring forward" this weekend!
