Random Life Experiences

I would have to say that life seems to be full of random and different experiences and so it is with this blog...sort of a random shot of our life.

We love to get together with the Senior couples who served with us in Armenia. We enjoyed Indian food ordered expertly by John Rich.

We were still under construction and the progress to week five...not a lot of change it would seem but little by little we're getting there.

We had planned a trip (the remodeling was supposed to be finished, but it wasn't) and in spite of unfinished business, we took time out for some sun and fun in California. Rog's brother, Dave and his wife Connie went with us and we had a grand time.

I don't have very many cousins on the Watkins side so was happy to be able to enjoy some lunch with my California cousin, Bob at Joe's Crab Shack. It seems we're doing some Shack eating this visit.

Abby Peterson
The tall and short of it
We were able to stop and see Abby Peterson (Dave and Connie's granddaughter) play a little volleyball. Volleyball is a popular sport in California and I think they said there were 350 teams in Abby's league. She's just 13 and already pretty tall.

We arrived home just in time to celebrate Stuart's 7th Birthday. It was a happy occasion and he and Rog really enjoyed sharing one of his gifts...a US Atlas. They were learning all sorts of interesting facts.

Almost finished except for some towel racks and other accessories and final inspection, the remodel as we now find it. We did add a mirror above the vanity today, so now complete. Rog was able to use the laundry room sink to clean the "big fish" he caught today. It was 5"x18" and about 2 pounds.

  3. We are so dull in comparison! It all looks great and your "new" house is fabulous.
